Before you pick up the equipment, we’ll give you a brief orientation and share practical tips on how to properly connect and use it. We provide all the necessary accessories: a water supply hose, connectors, and an extension cord.
Using the pressure washer is very simple. The unit itself has only one button with two settings—“On” and “Off”—and while it’s running, you control the water flow exclusively with the trigger on the spray gun.
You can also contact us at any time during the rental period if you have any questions about connecting or using the equipment.
Can I wash cobblestones and paving slabs?
Yes. The Karcher HD 6/15-4 Classic is ideal for cleaning cobblestones, paving slabs, and garden paths of dust, dirt, moss, algae, and other debris.
The pressure washer is particularly effective for cleaning large areas. The powerful fan nozzle (Power Nozzle) produces a dense, flat stream of water that covers a larger area in a single pass compared to household pressure washers. This means you don’t have to go over the same area multiple times, and cleaning is much faster. The more powerful jet also removes dirt faster, helping you save time, water, and electricity.
For the most stubborn dirt, the set includes a rotary nozzle (“dirt blaster”). How to Use the Karcher HD 6/15-4 Classic High-Pressure Washer
Step 1. Prepare the work area
Clear away large debris and make sure there is access to water and a power source nearby. If you plan to clean pavers, a building facade, a car, or other large surfaces, remove any objects that might get in the way, if possible.
Step 2. Connect the equipment
Connect the water supply hose to the faucet and the pressure washer, and plug it into a power source using the extension cord included in the rental kit.
Step 3. Select the appropriate nozzle
For general cleaning of cars, building facades, and less soiled surfaces, use the standard fan nozzle. To remove moss, cement residue, and caked-on dirt, attach the rotary nozzle (“dirt blaster”). For cleaning large areas of pavers and patios, we recommend the professional round nozzle.
Step 4. Start washing
Turn on the pressure washer by setting the switch to the “ON” position. The rest is very simple—the water flow is controlled solely by the trigger on the spray gun. Clean the surface with smooth, even movements, gradually moving the spray across the area.
Step 5. Remove Stubborn Stains
If necessary, go over areas with moss, cement residue, or years of grime again using the rotary nozzle. For delicate surfaces, we recommend starting from a distance of 20–30 cm and gradually moving the nozzle closer while controlling the jet’s pressure.
Step 6. Finish the job
When you’re done cleaning, set the switch to the “OFF” position, turn off the water supply, disconnect the hoses, and let the water drain from the equipment before returning it.
